Product Description

Application: Dielectric rubber hose specifically engineered for the protection and demineralised water cooling of electrical feeder cables for industrial furnaces. Normally used in foundries, steel mills and glass vijay. Dielectric strength 5000 V/mm. Self-exstinguishing cover according to ASTM C 542. The glass fiber cover protects the rubber hose from splashes of incandescent material and radiation heat up to a maximum of 500°C.

Construction Tube: NR rubber, black color, abrasion resistant, smooth.

Reinforcement: High resistance synthetic textile plies.

Cover: CR dielectric rubber, black colour, smooth, self-extinguishing to ASTM C 542, covered with vulcanised glass fiber, clear colour. Marking Upon demand.

Fittings: Supplied with hose clamps, standard collars or other systems required by plant constructor. Following ferndale versions are available:

• ManicableISO-16 Without glass fiber, with smooth CR dielectric mbber cover (cloth finish), resistant to ozone, weather and mineral oils contact, self-extinguishing acc. to ASTM C 542.
• ManicableI10-FVI-16 Willi built-in vulcanised glass fiber, covered with smooth CR dielectric rubber, black colour, resistant to ozone, weather and mineral oils contact, self-extinguishing acc. to ASTM C 542.
